Terms & Conditions - the basics

1 Pricing Structure

Pricing may include:

• Base or minimum service fee

• Per-mile charges (loaded miles)

• Hourly labor charges for loading, unloading, or wait times

• Additional fees (after-hours, extra stops, heavy loads, stair carries, etc.)

All pricing will be discussed prior to scheduling whenever possible. Final pricing may adjust if service needs change at the time of pickup.

2.2 Payment Terms

Payment is due:

• At pickup or delivery, unless other arrangements are made

• Via accepted payment methods: Cash, Zelle, CashApp, Venmo, PayPal, or other approved forms

Invoices not paid within agreed terms may incur late fees.

3. Cancellations & Rescheduling

• Cancellations made within 24 hours of the scheduled service may result in a cancellation fee up to the amount of the minimum service charge.

• If the Client is not available at the scheduled pickup or delivery time, a no-show fee or rescheduling fee may apply.

TMZ Transporting reserves the right to reschedule in the event of unsafe weather, vehicle issues, or emergencies.

4. Client Responsibilities

The Client agrees to:

• Provide accurate item descriptions including size, weight, fragility, and special handling needs

• Ensure items are properly packed, secured, and protected

• Confirm loading/unloading areas are safe and accessible

• Be present (or have an authorized representative present) at pickup and delivery times

• Notify us of stairs, elevators, narrow hallways, or unusual access conditions

TMZ Transporting is not responsible for delays caused by inaccurate information or inaccessible locations.

5. Transported Items & Liability

5.1 Condition of Items

TMZ Transporting is not responsible for:

• Pre-existing damage

• Damage resulting from improper packaging or customer loading

• Items not disclosed as fragile or high-value

• Normal shifting during transport if improperly boxed or secured by the client

5.2 Limited Liability

Unless otherwise agreed in writing:

• Maximum liability is limited to the total service fee charged

• We do not insure items beyond basic handling

• High-value items (over $500) must be declared and may require additional fees or a waiver

We do not transport hazardous materials, illegal items, or unsecured loose goods.

6. Weather, Delays & Safety

TMZ Transporting prioritizes safety. We may delay, reschedule, or refuse service due to:

• Hazardous weather

• Unsafe loading conditions

• Roads or driveways unsuitable for heavy-duty vehicles

• Items exceeding safe weight limits

We are not liable for delays caused by traffic, mechanical issues, or circumstances outside our control.

7. Loading & Unloading

We will assist with loading/unloading when possible, but the Client is responsible for ensuring:

• Items fit safely through doorways, hallways, and staircases

• Items are manageable and safe to move

• Any required manpower is available if items exceed safe single-person lifting capacity

Additional labor charges may apply for excessive load/unload times or unexpected difficulty.

8. No-Refund Policy

Due to the nature of transport services, all completed services are non-refundable.
If an issue occurs, we will work with the Client to find a reasonable solution.

9. Photography & Documentation

For safety and proof-of-service, TMZ Transporting may photograph items at pickup and delivery.
Photos may be used to document condition or for liability records only.

10. Service Refusal

TMZ Transporting reserves the right to refuse service for any reason, including but not limited to:

• Abusive or unsafe behavior

• Hazardous or illegal items

• Unsafe or inaccessible locations

• Overweight or oversized items exceeding equipment limits

11. Agreement

By booking services with TMZ Transporting, the Client acknowledges and accepts these Terms & Conditions in full.
